The best way to start your fitness journey

Inevitably the question comes up:

“Don’t I need to be in shape to do CrossFit?”

The answer of course is no.

Is CrossFit intense?  Absolutely, but we’ll cover that shortly.  For now, here’s a few reasons why it makes sense to start your fitness journey right here at CFA.

  • Our Foundations Program here at CFA starts off with 6 one on one sessions with one of our CF-L1 Coaches.  These sessions are true Personal Training classes and will give you the opportunity to learn the Foundational Movements of CrossFit in a private setting.  This allows you to ask questions, take your time and learn without getting lost in a large group.
  • Once you start, your coach becomes your guide. You will work with this person to not only learn, but get more fit.  Each one on one session contains a workout.  Those workouts start off simple and become more challenging as you go and preparing you to move into group classes.  Your coach will guide you through your workouts and be there with a “fist-bump” when you’re done.
  • Continued Learning: An educated member is safe and more fit.  Included in each class every day is an instruction session that will review each movement as well as provide coaching tips to improve your fitness and performance.  Again, this keeps you safe as you train and helps you get fitter and stronger, faster.  As you continue to get more fit, your intensity goes up and drives the result that you are looking for.

Guided instruction, support and the ability to get better and more fit.  This recipe makes CrossFit an excellent choice to begin your fitness journey.
